Report illegal content or a breach of the rules
This page lets anyone tell Flybi about content or conduct on Flybi that they believe is illegal or breaks our Terms or Community Guidelines. You do not need a Flybi account, and you do not need to install the app. This is the notice-and-action route of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA Art 16), open to any individual or organisation.
Flybi is operated by Nicholas Gerster Toft Simonsen (registered as flybi, CVR 46574184), Aarhus, Denmark.
If someone is in immediate danger, call the police first — 112 in Denmark. For online child sexual abuse material you can also report to AnmeldDet, run by Red Barnet. Telling us does not replace either.
Send a notice
What a notice needs
The form asks for what the DSA says a notice should contain (Art 16(2)):
- (a) an explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or breaks our rules;
- (b) where the content is on Flybi, as exactly as you can describe it;
- (c) your name and email address — except for a notice about child sexual abuse, which you may send anonymously (Art 16(2)(c)); and
- (d) your confirmation, in good faith, that the notice is accurate and complete.
A notice that contains these elements and concerns the legality of content gives us actual knowledge of that content (Art 16(3)).
What happens next
- On this page, as soon as you send it, you see that it was received and its reference.
- If you gave an email address, we also email you a confirmation of receipt (Art 16(4)), and later tell you what we decided and what you can do if you disagree (Art 16(5); the redress routes are in Terms Section 6.5).
- A person reviews every notice. A notice sent here never causes anything to happen automatically: the form itself restricts no account and no content. Notices about child sexual abuse, threats to life or safety and other imminent harm are looked at ahead of everything else. We do not publish a time by which a notice is reviewed.
- The person you report is not told who you are. If we restrict their content or account, they receive a statement of our reasons (DSA Art 17), which does not name you.
Your data when you send a notice
- Who is responsible: Nicholas Gerster Toft Simonsen (flybi, CVR 46574184), Aarhus, Denmark — support@flybi.app.
- What we keep: what you write in the form, the reason you chose, your name and email address if you gave them, and when the notice arrived. It is stored with Flybi's other reports, in Google Cloud Firestore in the EU.
- Your IP address and email address for misuse prevention: only kept as a keyed, anonymised fingerprint for 30 days to prevent misuse. To stop the form being flooded, we accept one notice a minute and three an hour from the same connection, and one a minute from the same email address. We count this against a fingerprint made with a secret key, never against the address itself, and delete the fingerprint 30 days after your last notice. This page loads no advertising, analytics or anti-bot scripts.
- Why: to act on your notice and to meet our notice-and-action duties under the DSA (GDPR Art 6(1)(c)), and our legitimate interest in keeping people safe (Art 6(1)(f)).
- How long: notices are kept under the same limit as all reports — 24 months from the date the notice is closed, as set out in the Privacy Policy, Section 8.
- Your rights: you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data at support@flybi.app, and complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). The full Privacy Policy explains these rights.
