Built to beat loneliness
Flybi is a social app for everyone: it shows you people near you we think you'll vibe with. Your new best friend, or your next padel partner, might be closer than you think. Flybi never asks for your address: what you share about yourself is up to you, in your own words.

A feed of the people near you — who they are, what they're into — with the ones we think fit you best first, instead of an endless grid of photos to skim past.
A feed that ends
You scroll — through the people near you, and then you reach the end. No posts, no feed refilling itself forever, nothing to chase. None of the pressure and performance that makes the other apps feel shallow.

Calm by design
No manipulation, no echo chambers, nothing trying to make you think a certain way. You use Flybi on your own terms, and your data is yours.
Safe to be yourself
We draw a sharp line on how people behave and talk to each other. You can report or block people who bother you, and every report is read by a person and taken seriously.

Flybi is for adults aged 18 and over. Sign-up has an age gate: you give your date of birth, and our community rules keep it safe.
What we're building towards
People over attention
Most social apps are built to keep you scrolling. Flybi is built to get you out the door. Your next coffee buddy or padel partner might be closer than you think, and when there's nobody new near you, the feed simply ends. We'd rather you close the app and go say hi in real life. No big plans needed: a walk, a coffee, a chat. Come with an open mind, and meet people as they are, whatever their background.
A feed ranked by fit, not by what hooks you
The people you see are ordered by how well you're likely to get along: shared tags, personality and how near you are. Not by what makes you react, and never by what makes you angry. No echo chambers, no outrage, nothing trying to nudge how you think. And no AI decides who you see: it's an algorithm, a transparent calculation from your tags, your Vibe Check answers and the distance.
Breaking the ice without the pressure
Small, playful ways to say hello that show you're actually interested, and casual enough that a "no thanks" is no big deal.
Your privacy, your call
We never sell your data. Location is only used with your consent, and you're always in control: pick a comfort zone, and people farther away than that won't see you in their feed at all. Turn location off whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app, any time. Your profile only shows what you choose to put on it: a screen name, a bio, your photos, your tags with what you wrote about them, plus a rough distance and the things you choose to show, like badges and your vibe.
A safe space, and we mean it
Write what you like, but threats, hate and harassment aren't welcome here. Every report is read by a person, and accounts that cross the line are paused while we look. If anything ever gets truly serious, like someone's safety being at risk, we'll loop in the authorities. Fingers crossed it never comes to that.
One person, one profile
Every account has a verified email and is 18+. We're working towards verified, unique people through MitID in Denmark and similar national ID services elsewhere, so it's one person, one profile.
Honest about money
Running Flybi costs money, so the free plan shows a few clearly marked ads, and Premium has none. We don't sell you, and we don't sell your data. Some of the ads come from Google AdMob, which we don't screen one by one, so we switch off the categories that prey on people: gambling, get-rich-quick schemes and the like.

Running Flybi isn't free, so on the free plan you'll see a few ads. Premium has none. Here's where they come from, and who decides.
Soon: ads we screen ourselves
We're building a way for local businesses to advertise on Flybi directly. Every one of those ads will be checked and approved by us before it's shown.
Soon: featured venues
Local places near you, shown by where they are, the same way people are. When a place has paid to be featured, it says so.
Today: Google AdMob
Until then, and whenever there isn't enough of the above, the ads come from Google AdMob, a third-party ad provider. AdMob chooses and delivers them, not us. In Europe, Google asks before it personalises any ad. Say no and you still see ads, just not personalised ones. That question is about Google's use of your data, not ours.
What we block
We've switched off whole categories in AdMob: gambling and betting, social casino games, partner-finding services, get-rich-quick, politics, religion, astrology, cosmetic surgery, weight loss and downloadable utilities. Last checked in AdMob on 21 September 2026. Alcohol is allowed: Flybi is 18+, and bars and cafés are part of going out.
Your data isn't for sale
We never sell your data. We don't give your profile, tags, chats or precise location to the ad provider. Ads are marked as ads, never full-screen, and never stop you using the feed.
